Foreign Policy Design's vision for The Space Program, a museum/retail space/art installation in Singapore's New Majestic Hotel, is far from expected. In fact, it's a bit of a wash.

The idea was to deliver three elements to hotel guests (design, intellect, contemporary culture) in bite size chunks for easy consumption. The designers used a simple, classic washboard as the primary building block for the interior—a nod, they say, to the hard work of Singapore's founding fathers. It's a clean look.
