Starting a garden is intimidating. Especially if you don't have much in the way of outdoor space like many of us urban dwellers. The new Foodie Garden might be the simplest entry into window gardening we've seen yet. The kits are about a foot long, and come with a tin container and all the soil, seeds, and "coco fiber wafers" you'll need to start raising mini crops. If you're not sure what a "coco fiber wafer" is, these kits are probably a great place to start learning.
The gardens come with three varieties of each theme in either a basil, hot pepper, or (for the ambitious) tomato version.
Foodie Gardens are only available in the U.S.
