One would hope cyclists wouldn't eschew helmet-wearing simply because of the hassle of toting one around once the bike is parked. But the foldable helmet from Carrera is designed with that very concern in mind, giving us one less excuse for going helmetless. Boasting a collapsable frame with an elastic fitting system, the helmet is meant to be closed like an accordion and stored in a bag when not in use. Carrera recently introduced a premium version that comes paired with matching sunglasses and features leather accents and a matte finish.

Throw one in your bag after your first ride on a men's or women's Martone bicycles, now in the Nothing Major shop.

The Jogging is both the name of a collaborative Tumblr project, as well as the site's group of 14 contributing artists. The project's posts vary between art world in-jokes, on-point satire, and some exercises in absurdism (See "Minka Kelly the Nicotine Warrior" below).

The group is active offline as well. Earlier this year they launched a book project using a print-on-demand service that automatically collects their last 100 Tumblr posts at the time of purchase. The cover features a timestamp and whichever post had the most notes at the time. They also run an Etsy store stocked with more sculptural items like the vacuumed sealed Chipotle bag, Kindle box, and lentils (also below).

As Animal points out, the Jogging's new show at New York's Baboo Fine Art Printing opened April 25.

Starting a garden is intimidating. Especially if you don't have much in the way of outdoor space like many of us urban dwellers. The new Foodie Garden might be the simplest entry into window gardening we've seen yet. The kits are about a foot long, and come with a tin container and all the soil, seeds, and "coco fiber wafers" you'll need to start raising mini crops. If you're not sure what a "coco fiber wafer" is, these kits are probably a great place to start learning.

The gardens come with three varieties of each theme in either a basil, hot pepper, or (for the ambitious) tomato version.

Foodie Gardens are only available in the U.S.

Made in the U.S and hand constructed using 12oz 100% cotton denim and a 100% cotton trim, the Standard Work Apron brings the durability and romantic qualities of raw denim to the work space, or heavy-duty kitchen. Made by Denver-based Winter Session, the apron is available in both pure indigo and gray and has an adjustable neck strap that is secured with an overall buckle. Pockets cover the chest and waist of the apron and allow the wearer to stash a phone, tools or other supplies and keep hands free to work. Overall, the Standard Work Apron looks like a perfect fit for the stylish, yet practical, person and work space.

The Standard Work Apron is currently available from Winter Session online.

Lena Dunham recently paired up with Rachel Antonoff to create a fashion film for the designer’s fall 2013 line. Best Friends features Dunham’s sister and costar in Tiny Furniture, Grace Dunham, and writer Alice Gregory. The short, which is reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film, follows the lives of the best friends, through the narration of Adam Driver, while they share meals, interests, and deadpan humor. However, unlike the average pair of best friends, these girls also share an incredible wardrobe full of fun, vintage-inspired, Rachel Antonoff creations.

Every aspect of Medellín's Parque Biblioteca Espana was designed for the needs of the local residents. Starting with the facade, the three buildings fit so seamlessly with the surrounding mountain landscape that they can easily be mistaken for a natural rock formation. Inside, the buildings house a library, a day care center, an auditorium, and computer labs with internet access.

The structure is intentionally prominent in the landscape of the neighborhood. The city of Medellín wanted the complex, part of a public works project to help rehabilitate low-income high-crime areas, to be a point of pride for the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood. According to Architonic, Sergio Fajardo, then mayor of Medellín, said of the project, "Our most beautiful buildings must be in our poorest areas." [via Ignant]

We tend to think that many vintage cameras are more fun to look at than to use—look no further than our bookshelf full of Brownies and old Polaroids for evidence of that. But, for a nice timeline of the look and evolution of the camera without the dust-collecting artifacts themselves, this offset litho-printed poster (available for pre-order for $22) from Pop Chart Lab does a pretty nifty job.

With furniture, and pretty much everything else in life, the simplest answer is usually the best. Designer Erik Griffioen's Bed'nTable is a new solution to use space more effectively in a multipurpose room like a loft or studio apartment by combining a bed and a table. By having the headboard of the bed frame serve as two legs of an attached table, Griffioen manages to add a dining table or working desk to a space where it would otherwise be awkward. We think the sturdy build and storage compartment at the foot of the bed makes an idea well-suited to dorm rooms as well. [via design milk]

The folks at Industry of All Nations have an interesting thing going. Sourcing their goods such as real Alpaca sweaters, Madras shirts and lightweight selvedge denim jeans from India, and sneakers with real rubber soles from Kenya, they tap into styles already made responsibly in locally owned factories in various worldy locales. IOAN brings some chic globalism to your heritage-heavy wardrobe and usually have a good story to tell doing it.

The latest from IOAN are its Batik-print shirts and shorts, which are made in Southern India of organic Indian Madras and dyed with 100% natural dyes using sustainable practices—the patterns are created by hand via a hot wax stamp. That would be pleasant enough news, but with patterns on target for SS13, the Batiks are likely to be a cool item for hot days this summer, one you don't mind talking up.

Remember the days when all the classic denim reissues went to Japan? Infuriating, right? Levi's Vintage Clothing has been around since 1999, but has really stepped it up in recent years. The elite Levi's sub-brand produces amazing clothing drawn from the iconic American brand's historic archives. Mr. Porter posted this great video examining the design process behind Levi's Vintage Clothing, which features an attention to detail and research that extends to label and packaging for the reissued Levi's goods. It's exciting to know the market of Levi's fanatics can support such a worth endeavor.
